Custom Bike Kit Cycling Uniform Prototype / Sampling Exercise, 2024 Project A custom cycling jersey and bib short inspired by poison-dart frog warning colors. A neon green–to–purple gradient improves rider visibility while referencing natural patterns, with a subtle texture applied through sublimation. The bib shorts mirror the jersey geometry using standard performance construction. Role Designed the jersey and bib graphics and overall look Worked directly with a cycling apparel manufacturer on materials and construction Selected performance fabrics, trims, and chamois pad options Reviewed samples and guided revisions through two prototype rounds Photographed the final pieces for documentation Outcome Produced two physical prototypes and gained practical experience working with manufacturers on cycling apparel materials and fit.
