“The Dual Citizen” Beer Label Limited-Run Packaging / Solo Brewer Commission, 2025 Project A custom beer label for a small Sitka brewer combining his Italian-American roots with his Alaska Series. Using a photo of Baranof Island as reference, I created a wrap-around mountain illustration and centered the design on two passports—Italian and American—reworked with wheat-and-hop crests to reflect the recipe’s dual identity. The title uses red, white, and green against an Alaskan blue palette. Role Illustrated the Baranof Island skyline and designed custom passport icons and crests Developed the color palette and typographic system Adapted the artwork to a sticker label format with required label copy Prepared print-ready files and approved physical proofs Built a reusable “Alaska Series” badge and batch-number system Outcome Delivered a printed sticker label for a limited can run and created a flexible identity system for the brewer’s Alaska Series.
